of discussion evenings where we open up all topics anarchist.
So, when's the general strike?The conservative attack on workers is at an all time high, and we face laws that will severely restrict basic freedoms as well as the right to organise, and improve our lives at work and in the community. Yet the leaders of our trade unions continue to direct our struggle into TV advertising and vague campaigns around the next election (in 2007!). How can we kickstart the union bureacracy? How do we create a grassroots movement for radical democracy and workers power? What does anarchism have to do with trade unions?
Jeremy will be giving a short talk on anarchism, unions and Howards new workplace laws. How do the recent attacks on individual rights by the Australian Federal Government affect us. Why are they doing it? What can the average person do about it?
Come along to a political discussion at Jura Bookshop on 'Anarchism, unions and the new workplace laws.' Talk, listen and strategise! Food
