5) Climate Camp Report
-Was great
-Spokescouncils every night, but sometimes didn't work very well. The spokescouncil wasn't used at the action
-Food not bombs fed all 300 people
-Sunday march was pretty big. Stopped the terminal for ages.
-Police were on the tracks
-People got over the fence and did a banner drop on the train
-Lots of people got arrested (more than 50) and most got fines
-Decentralised actions on the Monday. Stopped coal production for ages.
-Some controversy about 'violent' vs 'peaceful' protest
-Some controversy about veganism
-Some controversy over following the traditions of the Aboriginal custodians of the land

6) Mutiny zine on website
-electronic versions of mutiny are now on the Jura site

7) Stove
-The two back elements have stopped working
-The oven and grill still works and one front one still works
-Could food not bombs help buy a stove or something else inside the jura kitchen, instead of a van?
-Transport is a big stress so raising money for a van seemed like the best idea
Fridges at the bower for very cheap.
Jura should put the oven
Maybe we need a joint meeting between food not bombs and Jura to talk about

8) Working bees
>Need to have another working bee desperately - 16-17th August
>Also on the 9th 'cos it's a food not bombs day

9) High tech high tea
-Sunday 3rd August
-Talks about technology future

10) Myspace and facebook report
-myspace password has been found. Nienke is changing and adding
-Tony still interested in the site
-Need to change email
-General policy to redirect people from myspace and facebook to our website. Myspace and facebook are just a means to get to new people.
-Take tony's stuff off. Assert control over it.
-Certain people should have the password. Not everyone.
-They are evil capitalist companies so we shouldn't support them too much. The less we have to do with them the better.
>Nienke and Luke and James to look after myspace
>Jeremy to do facebook

11)Vegie Boxes
-Now can be collected on Friday from 11-7pm or Saturday 12-2pm

12) Next meeting
-12pm Sat 16th August
